6 "MAX 6G submersible pumps - GG20 semi-axial cast iron impellers
MAX6G SEM 1400 three-phase submersible pump - 6C motor - 400 Vac
DESCRIPTION
Submersible pump for pumping clear (or slightly dirty) water from wells or tanks. Ideal for the water supply of irrigation systems, aqueducts, housing complexes, or for tank filling.
MAIN FUNCTIONS
- Testing in continuous service (H24) with 500 gr.m3 of sand (maximum sand quantity peaks: 800 gr / m3)
- No axial load of the pump on the motor
- Models with maximum capacity: 96 cubic meters/hour
- Models with heads: up to 502 ml
- Impellers and components in GG20 cast-iron casting
- High resistance stainless steel sealing valve
- Pump shaft: high mechanical resistance, high resistance to corrosion
- Easy-maintenance joint coupling
- External cable
- Maximum diameter: 151mm
- Easy to assemble and disassemble
- Motor winding: inverter resistant
- Chrome bushes
- Max start/h: 30
- Submersible motor in water bath
- Hydraulic connection: NEMA 6 "
- Suitable for operation with inverter
- Connector: Removable
- Thrust group: Kingsbury system ideal for supporting high axial loads
- Line bearings: graphite and self-lubricating
The submersible electric pump must be appropriately protected by means of the electrical panel which must be sized according to the power supply, power, absorption, and the number of pump starts/h.
NON-RETURN VALVE
Water hammer: If the non-return valve closest to the pump is more than 10 meters from the static water level, or if the valve near the pump is faulty while the upper one is holding, a depression inside the pipe could occur. The next time the pump startes, the rapid movement of water will fill the vacuum, banging against the upper valve and against the still water in the delivery pipe, thus causing a hydraulic shock.
Counter-thrust: Without check valve, or with a defective/inadequate check valve, in the immediate starting phase the electric pump works without water in the delivery pipe. The result is an axial thrust directed towards the delivery. The axial thrust is transmitted directly on the motor creating a counter-thrust operating condition. Repeated countershocks can cause premature failure at the thrust bearing of the motor and of the pump.
Counter-rotation: Without check valve, or with a defective / inadequate check valve, the water contained in the delivery pipe and in the rest of the system would start to flow in the opposite direction, causing a rotation contrary to the normal direction of flow. Should the electric pump be restarted during this phase, the submerged pump and the thrust bearing will fail.
